Bending Built for the U1
The U1 has no room for our vertical bender, so Stage 2 uses a bending mechanism developed specifically for this printer. The build plate is flexed in controlled cycles that mechanically break the adhesion between part and plate.
Automatic Door Opening
Automatically opens the door after print completion to accelerate cooling and enable reliable automated printing. Built-in obstacle detection stops the door if anything gets in the way - whether it's overflowing prints or your fingers.
Smart Activation
An integrated limit switch detects print completion and automatically starts the door opening and bending sequence.

Stage 2 opens the door of your Snapmaker U1 automatically when a print finishes, or with a push of a button. The chamber stays closed while printing, then opens to cool the plate before the part is released.

Is this the same kit as the P and X Series?
Yes. The hardware is identical to the Stage 2 Kit for P and X Series without fan. If you add or switch to another supported printer later, you only print new mounting parts.
How do I install it?
Installation is straightforward. Start by printing the required mounting parts - STL files are free on Makerworld. Once printed, the rest is plug and play. Connect the components to the FarmBoard, mount to your printer, and you're ready to loop. No soldering.

Why is there no fan option?
The Snapmaker U1 already draws in cold air from outside, so a separate cooling fan is not needed.
Do I need the FarmLoop Pro App?
Yes. FarmLoop Stage 2 requires the FarmLoop Pro App to insert the automation G-code and tuning parameters. Alternatively, you can use farm management software like SimplyPrint.
